The Santé Community is an informal, open connection of Jesus-followers who desire to live in ever greater intimacy with God in Christ and who seek to welcome others into God’s perfect love.
We connect with one another in on-line small groups and social media (www.facebook.com/groups/SanteCommunity). We share our prayers, words, and experiences. We welcome one another and encourage one another as we each seek to live the lives to which Christ has called us.
We are drawn from all over the world, from diverse nations and ethnic groups. We are Baptists and Lutherans, Non-denominational Bible Churchers, Spirit loving Charismatics and Nones. We are theologically reformed, liberal and conservative, literalists and interpretative-ists, pre, post, omni and completely unsure millennialists. We are socially conservative, liberal and moderate, egalitarian and complementarian, red, blue, purple, and avowedly unengaged. We each treasure our own personal understandings and welcome others with theirs.
Some of us are world-changers. Some of us give our lives to loving the one before us. Some of us are passionate about social justice in action and some of us are immersed in contemplative prayer. We are differently gifted and differently called.
We come together in the Spirit around Christs’ table. We stand shoulder to shoulder with one another while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. We explore and celebrate together the presence, character and purposes of God in our lives.
We walk with Christ into the worlds in which he’s called us; our personal relationships, our unique work, and our local communities. We seek his Spirit to help us love our neighbors. We entrust our neighbors to him, knowing that he is faithful to us and to all those whom we love.
We each know and experience God uniquely. We each endeavor to live faithfully with him. We each desire to love others through the wisdom, power and love of his Holy Spirit!
